Julie D. Myers is a native of Washington, D.C. and brings twenty one years of legal experience to Myers Law LLC. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech, she attended the University of Baltimore School of Law. After graduation, Ms. Myers served as a judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland. Ms. Myers spent ten years of her legal career as a civil litigator in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area, practicing employment law and general civil law. She practiced in both Maryland state and federal courts, and was admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar in 2005. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Myers served as a court-appointed mediator in the Maryland courts. In 2007, Ms. Myers relocated to Colorado and obtained her Colorado law license. She opened the Law Office of Julie D. Myers, in Woodland Park, Colorado, where she practiced for five years in the areas of general civil law, estate planning, probate, and family law. In 2010, she was recognized by the Colorado Supreme Court for outstanding pro bono service. More recently, Ms. Myers worked as an administrative law judge for the State of Colorado and as a private practice attorney for a Colorado Springs civil litigation firm. Outside of work, from 1999 to 2004, Ms. Myers was a member of Rotary International, and served as president of a local Maryland chapter. After moving to Colorado, Ms. Myers served on the board of a local hospice, as a Girl Scout leader, and as a Junior Achievement educator. In addition, she spent two years as a coach for Girls on the Run, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping preteen girls gain confidence through fun, fitness, and teamwork. Ms. Myers is dedicated to providing her clients with competent and caring representation. Practicing law with integrity is of utmost importance to her. Outside of work, Ms. Myers enjoys watercolor painting, ceramics, and the Colorado mountains.
