Biography

Louisville injury lawyer, Seth Gladstein, graduated from St. Francis High School in 1993. Seth subsequently received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 1997. During Seth's junior year at Michigan, his peers elected him to serve on the College of Literature, Science and Arts' Student Government. In 1995, Seth worked as an intern for one of Kentucky's United States Senators in Washington, D.C.Seth graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2001. After graduating, Seth moved to New York City, where he practiced with one of the city's most respected and distinguished medical malpractice defense firms for almost four years. While there, Seth defended some of the country's leading physicians and hospitals, including New York-Presbyterian Medical Center, Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases, and North Shore University Hospital. These malpractice cases involved numerous medical specialties including ophthalmology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, internal medicine, and cardiothoracic surgery, among others.In 2005, Seth returned home to Louisville, to practice with one of Kentucky's largest and oldest defense firms. During his six years at that firm, Seth's practice again focused on hospital, physician, and nursing home malpractice defense. Seth defended physicians, hospitals, and nursing homes in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth â from Bowling Green to Louisa. He also personally handled numerous motor vehicle accident, workers' compensation, personal injury, insurance bad faith, and commercial litigation matters.In March 2011, Seth opened the Louisville, Kentucky law firm, Gladstein Law Firm, PLLC, to help injured people recover against those who have wronged them. Seth's years of defending physicians, hospitals, and nursing homes have provided him invaluable experience and insight necessary to evaluate and handle these types of complicated cases. Louisville personal injury attorney, Seth Gladstein, also represents clients in various personal injury matters, including car and trucking accident, motorcycle accident, pedestrian accident, dog bite, traumatic brain injury, and premises liability (slip and fall) cases.Seth is also very active in the legal community. For three consecutive years, Seth chaired the Louisville Bar Association's "Go For The Green" golf scramble, which raised funds for the Louisville Bar Association's diversity scholarship program. In 2010, Seth began serving a three-year term as a Barrister with the Louis D. Brandeis American Inns of Court, a group of judges, practicing attorneys, law professors, and students who meet monthly to learn about, discuss, and debate issues concerning legal ethics and professionalism. More recently, in 2011, the Louisville Bar Association selected Seth to participate in its Leadership Academy, a program designed to encourage and nurture professional and leadership development. Additionally, Seth has volunteered countless hours in multiple capacities for the Jewish Community of Louisville.In his free time, Seth enjoys playing golf, traveling, reading, and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
