Rex Kent Travis

Rex Travis graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1962 and celebrated his 50th year as an Oklahoma attorney in 2012. He practiced insurance defense for nearly 20 years before switching over to representing injured Oklahomans and those denied insurance coverage. Rex has now been a plaintiffs’ attorney for more than 30 years. Having practiced on both the defense and plaintiffs’ sides, he knows how to maximize your recovery when you have been hurt or have an insurance dispute.Rex teaches continuing legal education (CLE) courses to attorneys, presenting seminars on “Recent Developments in Insurance Law,” “Uninsured Motorist Insurance,” “Malpractice Avoidance,” and “Advanced Issues in Uninsured Motorists Coverage.” As an active member of both the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma Association for Justice, Rex works to shape Oklahoma laws affecting your case.Rex formerly served as an adjunct professor, teaching Insurance Law and Conflict of Laws at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
