Biography

I received my law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Temple University. After receiving my MBA, I spent the next nine years working as an Administrator and as Director of Human Resources for a national organization that owned and operated nursing homes and assisted living centers. Acting as a licensed Administrator gave me the opportunity to obtain extensive experience with the delivery of long term care services, including nursing home, personal care, and assisted living facilities. I am currently a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Lancaster Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Elder Law Section. In addition, I am frequently asked to speak on estate planning and elder law topics.We recognize that taking steps to secure you and your loved ones future, well-being, and security can be a challenging and overwhelming process. Understandably, these challenges and the perception that legal planning is expensive may cause many individuals to postpone the initiation of effective lifetime and estate planning, which can often lead to unfortunate results.We are all bombarded on a constant basis by various media sources (newspaper, periodicals, "infomercials" and targeted mailings) that set forth information and recommendations on estate planning that are largely inappropriate in fulfilling individual needs and achieving personal goals.
